BEFORE THE NET - contact Controller 24 hours before your turn to find out dates and news.

This station is (call sign) calling all members of Mid Herts Raynet for the weekly net.
CQ CQ CQ All members of Mid Herts Raynet Call signs only please starting with G0s”

(Log and acknowledge.)

“ I have the following stations...GnXXX, (etc)”
“Start at the top with outstation reports and 7 day availability please.”

(Call first station. Note replies for passing to Controller after the net.)
Announce dates or any other news and go round all stations for availability of attendance.
(stations unable to contact control directly should request relay via a better-placed station)

Thank all on net. “Any further traffic call signs only please.”

AFTER THE NET - complete the signals report sheet for the net and return it to the GROUP CONTOLLER.
